Pakistan Tourist e-Visa — What Changed in 2026

Pakistan withdrew its free Visa Prior to Arrival programme on 1 January 2026. Most travellers now apply for the standard paid e-Visa through the Pakistan Online Visa System (POVS) at visa.nadra.gov.pk. There is no embassy visit for most nationalities.

Fees vary by nationality — as a guide, around USD 35 for EU citizens and about USD 60 for US, UK and Canadian citizens. Nationals of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, Japan and Malaysia are fee-exempt but still apply online. Always confirm the current fee for your passport on the official portal.

Documents
