Package Prices (Private Basis)

Domestic private tours start at PKR 29,500 per person for 3 days, PKR 49,500 for the 5-day family tour, PKR 69,500 for 7 days with Khunjerab, up to PKR 125,000 for the 7-day luxury tier. International packages run USD 850 (7-day Explorer) to USD 1,950 (14-day grand tour) — still below the USD 1,080–1,900 that group-tour third-party agencies may charge for shared departures.

What Drives the Price

Hotel category is the biggest lever: standard vs deluxe vs Serena-class can double a quote. Season matters (July weekends and blossom weeks peak), as does vehicle type — a sedan costs less than a Prado 4×4, and Khunjerab days need capable vehicles. Group size cuts per-person cost sharply since car and driver are fixed costs.

Daily On-Ground Costs

Budget roughly PKR 1,500–3,000 per person per day for lunches and dinners at good local restaurants, PKR 1,000 for fort tickets, and small amounts for boating extras, jet ski or zipline. ATMs exist in Karimabad and Gilgit but carry cash backup.

How to Save
