Passu Cones and Upper Hunza Hiking Day

Start from your agreed hotel and drive to the Passu area for a briefing on the day’s walking route, weather and footwear. The hike uses established local paths and viewpoints around Passu rather than attempting to climb the steep rock towers known as the Passu Cones. Depending on conditions and the group’s fitness, the guide may combine village paths, river scenery, moraine terrain or a suitable glacier-viewpoint approach. Walking time is adjusted so there is enough margin for rest, photography and the return drive. A simple lunch stop can be arranged in Passu or Gulmit. If wind, rain, heat, snow or trail condition makes the planned path unsuitable, the guide switches to a safer lower-intensity alternative while keeping the day focused on Upper Hunza scenery. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon or evening.
