Day by Day Itinerary
1-day planGilgit to Naltar Valley
Meet the team in Gilgit and transfer toward the Naltar road, changing to or using an appropriate 4x4 for the rougher mountain section as arranged in the quotation. Drive into the valley with photo stops selected according to road safety and current access. When the seasonal route to the lakes is practical, continue toward the accessible lake area and allow time for walking, photography and a simple local break. In periods when snow, road work, water flow or another local condition limits access, the day remains a Naltar Valley sightseeing excursion rather than promising a specific farthest point. Lunch can be arranged at an available local facility or carried as a picnic depending on season. Return to Gilgit by evening. Guests staying in Hunza can request a combined transfer plan, but that adds significant road time and should be quoted separately rather than assumed in the standard one-day Naltar itinerary.

Can I do Naltar as a day trip from Hunza?
It is possible with additional driving, but Gilgit is the more practical base. A Hunza pickup should be planned separately because it makes the day considerably longer.
